A little clarity.

These terms describe While and getwhile.app, provided by ChamsDel Online LLC. Please read them before using the website or purchasing While Plus. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, involve your parent or guardian.

The iPhone app’s license

The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). ChamsDel Online LLC is the application provider. These terms describe the website and While service and do not replace or override that EULA or Apple’s applicable purchase terms. If there is a conflict about the app license, the EULA controls. What While offers

While provides short games for entertainment. Scores describe performance in a game on a particular device; they are not measurements of intelligence, a medical assessment, or a promise of cognitive improvement. Reaction times vary with hardware, software, and conditions. Play only when it is safe to give the screen your attention.

Free games and While Plus

Quick Tap and Shape Fit are free in the iPhone app. While Plus is an optional, non-consumable, one-time purchase for the six-game collection, personalized mixes, and detailed history. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The App Store purchase sheet shows the applicable localized price and taxes before you confirm payment. Payment is handled by Apple.

Restore purchases in the app using the same Apple Account to recover eligible access. An internet connection is needed to purchase or restore. An unlock does not synchronize game history. “Permanent unlock” refers to the non-expiring purchase entitlement for While’s collection, rather than a guarantee of perpetual support, compatibility with every future device, or access to every future separate product.

Apple handles refund requests at Report a Problem. Refunded or revoked purchases may lose paid access. Nothing here limits refund or other consumer rights you have under applicable law.

Website previews

The website offers free playable samples. They run locally in your browser, and their temporary results are not saved to your iPhone app. No purchase is required to try them. Website previews and app versions may differ.

Local data and privacy

Your app progress is stored on your device and can be lost if the app or its data is deleted. We cannot restore game history from our servers because we do not receive it. Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, purchase processing, website hosting, and support information.

Fair use and ownership

You may use the website and previews for personal enjoyment. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software, or use our name or materials to mislead others. While’s original software, branding, and content belong to ChamsDel Online LLC or its licensors. Third-party and open-source components retain their applicable licenses. These terms do not restrict rights that the law or those licenses grant you.

Availability and consumer protections

We aim to keep While useful and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted website access or support for every browser and device. The website is provided as available, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties or liability that cannot legally be excluded. App warranties and liability are addressed by the Standard EULA and applicable law.

Updates and applicable law

We may update these terms as the service changes and will update the date on this page. Changes do not remove rights already granted by a completed purchase or mandatory law. Nevada law governs the website terms to the extent permitted, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or remedies in their home jurisdiction. The app’s license is governed by the Standard EULA.
